College Recruiting Consulting

Many swimmers dream of swimming at the collegiate level. I recall as a young swimmer dreaming of going off to some of the big-time programs because they were featured on the cover of the Swimming World magazine. Today, young swimmers see the headlines online about the top programs everywhere. I’ve heard many swimmers at camps, and many of my clients alike say things like, “I don't know if I am good enough to swim in college.”

I believe that there is a place for just about every swimmer at the college level. You just have to know where to look. I have coached at small division 3 institutions, the US Naval Academy, some division 1 “Mid-major” institutions as well as the “Power-5” level. That breadth of experience at virtually every level is rare. I can understand the differences between the different levels and how that will affect how you project yourself and what to prioritize.

Being a collegiate coach myself for 26 years, I have the experience of understanding what a college coach is looking for in a prospective student/athlete. This will better enable me to help guide and advise you on where you should start, what might be a “reach” program for you.

If you want to explore your options to find the right University or College for you, I’ll help guide you on your way!
